Gender Studies is excited to offer Introduction to Queer Studies for the first time in the spring 2022 semester. To introduce this new program, we have created a four-part lecture series focusing on matters relating to gender, human sexuality, and sexual orientation with emphasis on LGBTQ+ issues and culture. Part three, The Case of Manuel I Komnenos: Gender, Sexuality, and Racialization, is presented by Dr. Roland Betancourt from University of California, Irvine.
