Building Reading Skills

Your child's reading skills will be improved through individualized reading instruction provided by USI Diagnostic Teaching of Reading students under the supervision of a reading specialist instructor. Elementary education undergraduate students who are earning a minor in reading and graduate students who are working toward a reading endorsement will work with one or two children each for 12 weeks to provide reading instruction that matches your child's needs. Emphasis will be placed on informal assessments for instructional value and the components of reading on which Indiana children are tested. Enrollment is limited and children must commit to attending all sessions.
