New Harmony International Conference on Contemporary Spanish Theater

The first New Harmony International Conference on Contemporary

Spanish Theater—Stages of Utopia, Dystopia and Myopia—will gather

together artists and teachers from around the world in historic New

Harmony, Indiana. Conceived by academic specialists in contemporary

Spanish drama and dramatic theory, the conference provides a unique

means for highlighting the originality, artistry and social commitment

of living playwrights, actors and other theatrical professionals from

twenty-first-century Spain.
