Residence III Opening Reception

The New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art invites you to join us January 12-February 16 for an exhibition showcasing the artists in residence at the New Harmony Clay Project.

The residency is organized by Lenny Dowhie, USI professor emeritus of art. Artist housing and studio space is kindly sponsored by the Robert Lee Blaffer Foundation. Artists enjoy their studio time in the Sarah Campbell Blaffer Ceramics studio, in the lawn adjacent to Philip Johnson's Roofless Church.

Artists included in the show are Vlad Basarab, Blaze Buseth, Donna Causland, Sydney Ewerth, Misty Gamble, and Marina Kuchinski. For more information about the program and the resident artists, visit the program website at

An opening reception will be held at the New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, January 12 in conjunction with the Under the Beams Concert featuring Kathy Mattea at 7:30.

The exhibition is free and open to the public.

This activity is made possible, in part, with support from the Efroymson Family Fund, the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
