Screaming Eagles New Student Orientation

Screaming Eagle Orientation

Screaming Eagles New Student Orientation is designed for students entering the University of the first time or for transferring students who have earned less than 20 credit hours at another institution. This program is a one-day, on-campus program. During Orientation, students will:

  • Meet and interact with an AMIGO (student orientation leader)
  • Learn what is like being a Screaming Eagle
  • Learn more about the University of Southern Indiana
  • Receive their Eagle Access Card (student ID)
  • Receive academic advising and register for their first semester of college classes.

Concurrent with New Student Orientation is a Parent and Family Orientation. Details and the registration form for Screaming Eagles Orientation can be found on our website.

March orientation dates are by invitation only based on academic standing.

I’ve been through orientation twice as a parent. I learned more than I thought I would by going through it as a student.
